1 Day Emergency First Aid Course
This course trains people in Basic First Aid to the level of an (Appointed Person,) which the HSE Regulations state is needed for a small low risk workplace or to assist a full First Aid
at Work Qualified person. On successful completion of this course delegates will receive
a Basic First Aid Certificate, valid for three years.
Course content
The course will cover a range of subjects, which include:
- The aims of First Aid
- Management of an unconscious casualty
- Resuscitation
- Control of bleeding
- Burns and scalds
- Fractures, dislocations, sprains and strains
- Recognition and treatment of illness
- Record keeping and the First Aid Box
