On successful completion of this course delegates will receive a Health & Safety Executive
Approved, nationally recognised, First Aid at Work Certificate, valid for three years.
Course content
- The course will cover a range of subjects, which include:
- The aims of First Aid
- Management of an unconscious casualty
- Resuscitation
- Control of bleeding
- Burns and scalds
- Fractures, dislocations, sprains and strains Eye injuries
- Poisons
- Recognition and treatment of illness
- Transportation of casualties
- Record keeping and the First Aid Box
